Safe and loving home to experience Auckland and New Zealand from. We are a small family of 4 with 2 boys aged 4 and 7 and 2 full time working parents who needs an au pair to help getting everyday life to work more smoothly. If you know Danish that would be great. We have lived in Auckland for a few years now, and we absolutely love it: We live in a very green suburb 15 min out of Auckland CBD. We have bushwalks, shops, cinemas, leisure centers etc. in easy reach. Our house is newly renowated and modern with plenty of room, a pool, yard, deck and your own room and bathroom. Anders(Andy) is 7yo and goes to school from 9-3 daily. He is a very considerate and sensitive young man who loves animals, the outdoors, drawing and having friends over for playdates. Tobias (Toby) is 4yo and goes to an early childhood education center (kindergarten) 3 days a week. He loves to build stuff (hurray for Lego), cars, animals, superheroes and being in the kitchen. He will be home with you 2 days a week and would love to take you to the zoo, hang out, read stories, play or go to the playground. We have moved to New Zealand experience a different country and culture and love exploring NZ in weekends and holidays. Thomas is 40yo and an IT consultant from Denmarks northern Jutland. He loves to cookand having guests for dinner. Dorte is 39yo and Product Manager. She is also Danish, from Vedbaek, and loves to cuddle her kids when off work and not doing karate or yoga.
We are looking for an au pair that can help us glue our everyday life and be an integral part of the family. This means getting some of the basic chores out of the way on a daily basis: Assist with lunch boxes and breakfast, tidy the house after a busy morning, take care of Tobias on Mondays and Tuesdays, pickup Anders after school (and drop him off). It also means commiting yourself to being a part of our family, and occasionally assisting when we cook dinner or by reading bed time stories. In addition we would like you to do some ironing and cleaning. If you are a sweet and caring person with a sense of humour and good person skills you might be the perfect addition to our family. Do you like kids and love to play? Are you patient, calm and easygoing in a sometimes stressed household? Are you particular, good at seeing how you can help - and getting it done? Are you curious by nature and want to live in the most beautiful country in the world...in a safe and loving environment with a funloving family. We are looking for the right person, and while we would prefer a start as soon as possible we are flexible on timing and dates.
