A young british / dutch family of 4, living in the mountains
We’re a friendly, outdoorsy family looking for a sporty, caring, and reliable nanny/chalet girl to join us for the winter season in Verbier. The role is a lovely mix — around 80% nannying and 20% chalet support — and would suit someone who loves spending time with children, enjoys the mountains, and is happy to help keep family life running smoothly. What the role involves: • Providing fun, active, and nurturing care for our two children each day, a little boy (3) and girl (1) • Planning engaging activities — from creative play to outdoor adventures in the snow • Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children • Helping with school runs, bath time, and bedtime routines • Supporting with chalet tasks such as tidying, laundry, and keeping things organised • Lending a hand with meal prep and helping maintain a warm, welcoming home We’re looking for someone who is: • Sporty, energetic, and enjoys an active lifestyle • Experienced working with children in a nanny or similar childcare role • Friendly, positive, and proactive – happy to get involved wherever needed • A confident driver with a valid licence (essential) • Organised, dependable, and comfortable being part of family life • A team player who thrives in a family setting and enjoys mountain living What we offer: • Ski pass for the season • Accommodation provided • All meals while on duty • A supportive, welcoming family environment • The chance to enjoy a full alpine winter while making a real difference day to day This is a full winter season position, perfect for someone who loves children, embraces the mountain lifestyle, and wants to combine meaningful nannying work with the fun and adventure of chalet life.
