Hi! I'm Clare, a single mum living in a small, friendly town in Norfolk with my bright and energetic son, Theo, who is almost four. I work from home as a freelance office manager, and our home is warm, lively, and full of love and laughter (and soft play adventures!). We’re looking for someone kind, responsible, playful, and calm—someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and wants to be part of family life. It’s important to me that we get along as housemates too, so someone who’s open, easygoing, and comfortable with a bit of friendly adult company would be a great fit.
Your role would involve helping us with morning routines, after-school play, the evening meal and bedtime routine, as well as some weekend support—joining us on family outings like trips to the zoo, parks, and soft play centres. I may also need help collecting Theo from school at 3pm and playing with him until I finish work at 4:30pm, depending on how he settles in. Light household help (tidying, laundry, occasional cooking) is appreciated, and there's an option to earn extra by doing a weekly clean. During school hours, you’ll usually have free time. We're looking for someone who is active, patient, and genuinely enjoys engaging with young children.
