Hello, Bonjour, Konnichiwa! We are an international family based in Oxford. I am a Japanese PhD student, and my husband is a French designer. Together, we have a little bundle of joy—a baby who will be 4 months old in June. We are looking for an au pair to join our family, preferably someone who is a native English speaker (or fluent in French or Japanese). We are passionate about cooking (my husband holds a French chef certificate, and I specialize in Japanese cuisine), traveling the world, and exploring different cultures. We hope to find someone who shares our curiosity and love for learning. We are excited to welcome someone who will not only care for our baby but also become part of our family and share their culture with us. Pocket Money: Receives a weekly allowance Accommodation & Meals: Provided by the host family. Working Hours: Typically works 30 hours/week Childcare Support Cultural Exchange: Lives with the family to experience a new culture and improve language skills. Light Housework: May do simple tasks like cooking for kids, laundry, or tidying children's rooms. Meal Preparation: Willingness to prepare nutritious meals for the baby as needed (starting around 5–6 months). Educational Approach: Interest in learning about the Montessori method or other child-centered educational approaches.
