We are an active Belgian family with three kids, living and working in Barcelona. We will offer you a year in one of the greatest cities in Europe, a nice cultural exchange and a warm and friendly family environment. We like to do outdoors activities together and in our free time, we enjoy spending lots of quality time with the kids. We also love traveling, music and good food. We are interested in other cultures and lived in different countries already. Alexander is our oldest child. He is very easy going, connects quickly with other people, very talkative, sings a lot and loves playing with toy cars. Luisa and Matilda are our twin girls. They look alike but are very different in character. They're good sleepers and love to go outside for a walk in their stroller. They laugh very easily but are sometimes a bit timid with strangers. Leo is our British Shorthair cat. He is very kind and lazy and loves to lie close to us. He doesn't go out and likes eating. We live in an apartment in the city of Barcelona. Our place is extremely well connected with the metro and very close to the city center. The school and parks are extremely close and the apartment is quiet and large enough to offer everyone the needed privacy. You will have a private room, bathroom and separate entrance to the apartment.
We are looking for a flexible and trustworthy au pair who wants to live with us for around one year and help with the kids. The main tasks will be to join and help our children with their morning routine and breakfast and thereafter bring either Alexander or the twins to the school or daycare. In the afternoon, we would like you to help us with the pick up from school or daycare, playing with the kids at home or in the park and help with the evening routine. We are looking for an au pair who has experience with taking care of small kids, with good level of English and who isn't afraid to take initiative. We won't request you to do a lot of household chores, as we have an employee who takes care of cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc. However, we would like you to help with some light chores, related to the kids, such as preparing and cleaning the table, filling the dishwasher, etc.
