I am a diplomat from Norway working in Strasbourg and looking for an au pair as from first of September. I have two sons and one daughter. Spoken languages at home are Norwegian, French, English and Greek. The kids are of Norwegian, French and Greek origin. We have lived many years abroad, the past six years in Brussels. Our home is a spacious flat close to the beautiful old center of Strasbourg and very close to the Council of Europe. Everything is in walking or biking distance. You don't need a drivers licence. I will provide a bike for you and of course you will have your own bedroom. The flats has several bathrooms, wc and showers, so no queing i the morning. Strasbourg is a vibrant university city with a young population. I am looking for a caring and kind person who is ready to take on responsibilities. I will let you do your job your way, I am not a micro manager. I am looking forward to welcoming a young adult into our home.
Taking the kids to and from school, approx one km from our home. School starts at nine thirty and ends at half past three. Staying with the kids,supervising their homework, feeding them, them until I come home from work between five and six in the evening Looking after my three and a half year old son on Wednesdays afternoons as school ends at twelve thirty on Wednesdays. Some light housework like putting the washingmashine on, ironing the kids clothes, tidying up the kitchen and the kids toys if needed, light grocery shopping. I have a housekeeper for the heavy housework. Walking the family dog, a small female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, this can be done when walking the kids to and from school. Baby sitting one night per week, mainly during weekdays. No work in the weekends, unless an occasional baby sitting evening.
