I am a single mom of twins(by choice). I am an IT professional working in Washington, DC. I come from a large family and originally from the Caribbean. So, I am very open to new cultures because I have an appreciation for differences in culture. I took French in college and I have an interest in learning Spanish. I come from a large family, so accustomed to sharing what I have and what I know. I am never afraid to try new things and have new experiences. That's what makes life worth living. I am currently hosting my niece from California, who is in graduate school at Georgetown University, and have hosted my friends daughter also from California, so I am accustomed to sharing my home.
The Au pair's job would be to look after my twins (laundry, feed, clothe, interactive play). Also, would be doing light housework in the areas of the family room, kitchen, and powder room. The hours are between 8:45 AM and 6:45 PM, but requires some flexibility depending on what's happening with the twins.
