Dear Au-pair, We hope to find and welcome you to our family from March 2018! We have had au pairs living with us for the few years and it has been a wonderful experience for all of us. We are open minded and are very internationally orientated. We are interested in different cultures and languages, as well as showing you ours. We both speak fluent Dutch and English, some German, little French and Gosia also fluent Polish. So for sure we can help you to improve your English! Please let us introduce ourselves, we are Gosia, Jeroen and Maxim. We are a young, hard working, active, but also fun, relaxed, warm and easy going couple living in a nice town just outside Rotterdam in The Netherlands. Gosia is Polish works in sales and Jeroen is Dutch and works in a consultancy company. We are married for 8 years. Maxim is a happy boy who loves to explore the world. Maxim is three years old and learning quickly. We also have a sweet dog named Kaya of 5 yo and 5 fishes. We live in a very comfortable villa in a nice small town just outside Rotterdam. Public transport, shops, etc are all very nearby and on a walking distance. If you're more in the mood for some serious shopping or clubbing, the tram to Rotterdam city center will only take 15 min. We both work full time in sales related jobs and are both educated on university level. They say work hard, play hard. We therefore also love to travel, relax in the weekends and go for a nice walks with the dog, bbq's, parties, or just hang out with friends and family. We will invite our au pair in family activities (if she wants to of course) examples of this are bank holidays, summer bbq's,trips to for example show you nice places in The Netherlands or even outside the country, Christmas but also simple things like having dinner or watch a movie together and have some fun. We expect from you: Your help taking care of Maxim during the day (mon-fri) and some light support in the household. The evenings and weekends you have free time. We might ask you to babysit Maxim once in a while for a couple of hours in the weekend (only if you want to). Further, we expect you to be thoughtful, be caring, be easy going, be part of our family, be strict and responsible when needed, enjoy your time with us and make friends and most of all, have fun! We will do our best to give you an amazing time in The Netherlands! We would like our new au-pair to start as soon as possible. We offer lots of privacy to our au pair and we have a new and comfortable room on the second level of our home with everything you need. We hope to speak to you soon! Gosia, Jeroen and Maxim
