We are a family of 3. We have a sweet little boy who has special needs - Ethan, he is 9 years old. He has autism. He is extremely friendly, very sociable, and although he does not talk, he communicates by other means and really likes to have fun. We live in the North Shore of Auckland, a good size house in a good area and all the great north shore beaches are close by as are the shopping malls and motorways. Looking for someone that has a lot of patience, likes to have fun but also very responsible, organized and willing to follow some routines, as this is very important for Ethan.
We need some help caring for Ethan mainly before and after school. Taking him to school in the mornings and picking him up some afternoons, school hours are 9am to 2:30pm. Looking after him for 3-4 hours after school, and sometimes in the weekends. We rarely go out at night so you would have most evenings off. We would also need help with things around the house, cleaning, cooking etc. The usual stuff around the house. We are willing to talk about everything though and see what works.
