I am Shweta and my husband is Raj, we have one 5 years old daughter, Samaira. We live in London, in a family neighbourhood which is 10 min away from high street and station. We both work in IT, I am lead Product manager and Raj is Director of engineering. We are looking for an au pair to help take a little of the strain of day to day family life as we work full time, we need someone to help us on school runs in the morning and taking care of her in after school hours! Samaira is fantastic happy kid and we are looking for a bubbly, energetic and confident au pair to become a part of our day to day family life. She sleeps well in night and rarely wakes up and her morning starts at 7.15 – 7.30 am, she likes to go out to park and we have 1 nearby park, aupair would be needed to help do outdoor activities like bicycling or going on swings etc. We will pay you £100 per week for the normal aupair hours and will pay £4.50 per hour for extra hours if we need them. We will also give you a £10 mobile phone allowance each month and we have wi fi at our home for you to be able to use your own computer. If you don’t have a computer then we do have one that you can use but this will be by arrangement. We are looking for someone to be a part of our day to day family life and a support to me at home with our daughter in both fun activities and daily routine. Samaira is a lovely and v responsible child, she is 5 years old, we would need help in; getting her up/dressed and given breakfast, fed and taken to school in the morning, taking care of her in after school hours which would include picking her up from school on Monday to Friday and bringing her home or spending some time in park and then bring her home, feed her noon snacks & Tea, bathe her into pyjamas at night-time and taking care of her till we come back home. The morning hours are from 7.30 till 8.45 am which is time for her school drop and afternoon time are from 3.00 pm when she is needed to get picked and till evening 7pm when we are back. School is 1 min across our street from home. And she gets the day between dropping her and picking her to herself. Samaira will be going to swimming and gymnastics after school on weekdays so Au pair would need to take her to the class post school on those days! We are very active and go out most days to local toddler groups/swimming classes/music groups etc. and you would accompany us in such activities. There will be some light housework (but we do have a cleaner) – mostly focused around Samaira; keeping on-top of the washing and keeping her rooms clean and tidy/ making her beds etc. Cooking for her would also be required. General cleaning and tidying, laundry and ironing; and picking and dropping her to school. The hours to be worked will generally be 7.30am- 9am and then 3pm to 7pm from Monday to Friday but we do ask you to be prepared to be flexible to suit us both. Your normal free days will be Saturday and Sunday.
