Dear Au Pair, We are an international trilingual family (mum Brazilian, dad Italian, son born in London) in the process of relocating to Italy. We will be spending the summer in Lecce, Puglia (Italy) from beginning of April until the end of August and are looking for an English speaker (preferably mother tongue and British) au pair to stay with us and look after our 4 year-old son Luca. I’ll be working a couple of days a week, otherwise will be around most of the time. We are looking for someone to play and chat to our son (and ideally continue to teach him numbers and phonics which he has been learning at nursery). We will be spending a lot of time at the beach and enjoying the summer. This is a great opportunity for a young person who genuinely enjoys the company of children and likes the beach and hot weather (it does get really hot over there!). Not much help needed with housework really rather than cleaning after yourself. Experience is a must. Looking for someone energetic, positive, gentle, fun, fair, ideally familiar with the ideas of gentle/positive parenting. We are a happy family who enjoys the outdoors, arts, and music and a likeminded individual would be ideal. Driving license not essential but desirable. References are a must. Play play and play with Luca! At home and at the beach. Also teach him numbers and phonics. Light housework, mainly cleaning after yourself really.
