Half Polish, half British family with higher education. Me and my partner both work at the University. Kids are full of energy and like arts and crafts and outdoor activities. We have a cat. We are very friendly, but also like to spend some time alone. We are looking for a person who is happy, friendly, optimistic and outgoing, so she won't feel lonely. We had au pairs previously for almost 2 years now. We are open for discussion.
The au pair position would require picking up kids from school/nursery and taking care of them from 3.15 pm to 5 pm. (Mon-Thu) and 12.30-5 pm (Fri). Unless they are sick or have holidays - then its 9-5pm. But we have flexible working hours in case you have classes or other job or sth like that. School is in walking distance so no need for driving etc. Also we would like to go out with my partner twice a week in the evening (but the days are always to be accepted by you and its flexible) and two Saturdays in a month (also to be accepted which ones) - for you to take care of kids during the day. However it is often that we don't use our evening/days out. And it doesn't affect the salary. I pay 250 a month and it is fixed salary, not by hour. So it's the same when we go out, the same when we don't. So there are just months or weeks where you have lots o free time but sometimes you have less free time. We also provide food (for you to cook for yourself, you just need to tell me what you like, so I buy the ingredients) as the experience taught me that the au pairs feel good to eat what they like not what we are actually making. There is also nice room for the au pair and pre-paid phone with some minutes and internet.
