Dear Au pair Please have a read of our profile to see if we are the family you are searching for. We are a young, friendly, and caring family, looking for someone to fit in as part of our family. We are currently a family of 3. Our daughter, Divyanshi is 5 years old and goes to the local primary school which is 5 minutes’ walk from our home. We both are doctors, who were born in India but have lived in UK for 14 years now and are British Citizens. I work full time as Consultant Paediatrician and my husband works as Consultant Anaesthetist at NHS Hospital. We are looking for a live in aupair working 25 hours/ week with duties primarily around childcare. Some light housework as listed in aupair book would be required. There are several options available for you to join local English Language courses in your free time in Wandsworth Council. You will be made to feel very welcome with us and we hope that we can be your home away from home. We are looking for someone to join us in mid-March 2018 or beginning of April 2018. We would like to have you for a minimum of 6- 9 months but preferably for a year if it suits you. If our profile is of interest to you we would love to hear from you. Expectations We are looking for a responsible, caring and energetic au pair to start with our family from mid- March 2018 for a minimum period of 6 months, but preferably for 12 months. The au pair would be responsible for looking after our 5 years old daughter. The working week looks like the following - Monday to Friday 7:15 am – Wake up our daughter, give breakfast and get her ready for school 8.40am - school drop off (5 minutes walking distance from home (0.2 miles only - Driving not required) 3.15pm - pick up from school and give snacks and play 4-5pm – Play with our daughter either at home or in the park outside 5:30 pm- give dinner Between 9 am to 3 pm after school drop off would be your free/study time We arrive home at around 5:30 -6:30 pm most nights at which time you will then be free for the rest of the evening. You are more than welcome to hang out with us or do your own thing. Some weekdays one of the parents will be at home and we will look after our daughter, giving you more free time on weekdays. We would also expect the au pair to help with cooking an uncomplicated kid’s meal for our daughter. We are not looking for you to do any family cooking or housework other than cooking for yourself, cleaning and tidying up after yourself. There may also be occasional babysitting in the evening during the week when we both have to work late. However, these are very rare. During school holidays, we would like you to cover some full days, however we will always ensure that we balance this out by sending our daughter to clubs on some days, we take time off work to spend time with our daughter. We always try to make sure things are fair for everyone. We would appreciate some help with our daughter’s homework and general household shopping from shops that are just across the road. Saturday and Sundays and public holidays you will have off. Also, as mentioned previously, there will be several weekdays when one of the parent is at home and we will look after our daughter, giving you more free time. I you decide to stay for 12 months, we will get you an unlimited Cineworld pass to watch free movies in the Cinemas at the Southside Shopping Centre (less than 5 minutes’ walk) during your free time. Also, we will help you get enrolled at to the local Gymnasium to keep fit, local council library to borrow books and dvds (all at less than 5 minutes’ walk). You would have a fully furnished and bright double bed room with a king size bed with attached personal bathroom. You will also have access to unlimited broadband internet wi-fi. As a family we will give you the freedom and support you will need if you are looking to experience a new culture, language, friendships and adventures in the safety of a family home. Some strict things that we want in our Au-Pair 1. Strictly non-smoker 2. No alcohol consumption at home 3. No very late night parties 4. Should not be visibly lazy and disorganised We are keen to find someone who can speak English, is hardworking and enthusiastic.
