My little family consists of just Me (Haley), my fiancé (Evan), and our son (Elijah). Elijah is 2 years, almost three years old, and full of energy. He is the light of mine and Evan’s world. Sadly, in the midst of our busy lives we do need some help. I am in school for pre med and as you might know it is really overwhelming and time consuming. The time I’m spending towards school will only increase as i get close/into med school. This is why we need you! Honestly i have heard many amazing things about su pairs and am super excited to get to be a host family!We live in Louisville, KY. Our everyday life is not super crazy, I consider myself a gentle parent and wouldn’t expect anymore from. We are pretty laid back and honestly just want Elijah to have as much fun as he can while he is young. These are vital years for him to experience life as a kid and I don’t want to get in the way of that. As of right now (during school) I’m up first in the morning and leave before Elijah or my fiancé wakes up. Then it is up to Evan to take him to the sitter and head off to work, Elijah gets really sad having to go to a sitter everyday and tells us he would much rather “stay at mommy daddy’s house.” Then when i get out of school or off of work I go get Elijah and we just hang out at home until its bedtime and we get ready for bed, he watches some tv and then goes to sleep. Our daily life with Elijah is pretty simple.
We are a very welcoming loving family, we are super open to any ideas and anything you might be interested. We would never want you to hesitate to ask for anything. Things that we would like you to do consist of: caring for Elijah, putting him to sleep if we could not be home that night/baithing him before bed time, takeing him to the park or school, clenaing the house, and preparing meals. I would absolutely love to have family dinners I just never have the time to cook! You will be treated as part of the family. You room will be furnished with the essentials including a tv :) we will provide you with any essential items you might need during your stay (ex: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste etc.) we will be buying all the groceries for the household there will be no need for you to need to spend money on anything just request it and we will purchase it. This does not cover everything but hopefully it gives you a feel for our little loving family, we would be so happy and exactatic to have you as an au pair! Can’t wait to get in touch and start this journey.
