We see an au-pair as a true family member, as an older sister to our children. We are very open minded and treat every member with love and respect. Preferably you are Japanese.
I am expecting support on almost all every day duties. Like spending time with the children, help on home works ect. Help on tidying, cleaning and cooking. Our au-pair ideally should see on her own what needs to be done, self initiated, without waiting for instructions. I would expect you to help on everyday duties like every family member would do. It is about helping together. As well we would like to exchange and learn from your culture and language. I am speaking with my children in German and my husband in Arabic. And I am communicating with my husband in French. So you could learn of all these languages.
