Hello we are a family of 4 (2 children: Boy 6 & Girl 5) who live in Fulham (London). Both parents work full time so we are looking for someone to join our family and help care for our children. Candidate requirements: • Must have a strong confident personality with good balance of energy and fun, cosy and loving with the children but also firm with discipline and good at setting boundaries; • Previous experience looking after similar aged children would be an advantage • Being able to multi-task and keep an eye on the children • Energetic, organised (job involves a lot of logistics, planning re school bags, homework and play dates), tidy and reliable. • Must be able to commit to the role for a minimum of 12 months
Both kids are at school so the job is Monday - Friday 7am - 8.30am (school drop off) and 3.30pm (school pick up) till 6pm. During school holidays we may require you to work full days (pay will be increased for holiday coverage), although we do tend to go away during this period or put the children in clubs/camps. Duties include: • Preparing breakfast for the children (tidying up kitchen) and getting them ready for school. • Tidying and keeping in order children bedrooms and play areas • Comfortable assisting and encouraging homework • Washing and preparing children’s school clothing and bedding • Drop off and collect children from school and after school clubs/playdates • Bath time • Some preparation of meals. Note: there is also the opportunity to work for other people during your off hours to earn extra money. Accommodation: You will have your own bedroom, with ensuite and plenty of storage. The room has a separate/private entrance to the house. There is a reception/TV room on the ground floor for your use and we also have a home gym. Benefits: Unlimited use of Wi-Fi, weekly household bills and food all included. Room cleaned weekly (cleaner employed). Oyster (Travel) card provided Leave: 4 weeks agreed in advance (usually taken at the same time the family takes holidays Location: We live in a terraced house in Fulham, close to Fulham Broadway with lots of great amenities, travel links, shops, cafes & restaurants, market and gyms. Availability We are looking for someone to replace our current Australian au-pair who is leaving us on 10th December 2017.
