Along with my two sons, Reef, aged 9 and Knox, aged 8, we live in the township of Amersham, located outside London city, approx 40 minutes by train. Heathrow is our closest Airport, approx 30 minutes by car with Luton Airport also close by. Amersham is a beautiful little town with many shops, restaurants, swimming pool, parks, library and other facilities which you are able to enjoy. I live with Reef and Knox in our semi-detached house, which is a short 5 minute walk from the boy’s school also in Chestnut Lane. This is a convenient location to the main shopping centre of Amersham and the train station which is around 10 to 15 minutes walk. Our house has 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, family bathroom and 2 toilets with a good sized garden the boys like to play in. You will have your own bedroom within our house and shared bathroom. The bedroom is small, however it is our priority to embrace you into our family life and hope that you will enjoy being with us. We enjoy days out together and often go to the zoo, museum or travel into London for a day in the city. I have an annual train/bus pass which I am happy for you to use at any time when I am not working in London. This will allow you the opportunity to explore this great city whenever you want without the worry of having to pay transport costs which can be expensive. Reef and Knox are friendly and outgoing boys, and I often get asked if they are twins as only 15 months separate them. They have quite different personalities - Reef is gentle and observant, very kind and enjoys building his Lego, as well as his colle
Outline of Hours : Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 0700 to 0900 and 1500 to 1900. You will have 6 hours free during each day and would like to ensure the house is kept neat and tidy - if at all possible with 2 boys! Tuesday and Thursday - as required, 1500 to 1800. Saturday and Sunday - free for you to do as you wish. Occasionally I have work events on in which case I would ask you to look after the boys in the evenings and / or weekends. Duties : Get boys ready for school each morning. Get breakfast ready and make boys lunch for school Help with cleaning boys teeth, brushing hair, washing face Walk to/from school each day – though Reef has started to walk to/from school himself now. Cook evening meals for boys Help boys with homework and reading Help with bath/shower Clean house – making beds each day, dusting, washing floors, vacuuming, clean up toys each night, clean bathroom/toilets, general cleaning as required. No driving required.
