Dear au pair, Hello. Me and my wife Hala would like to welcome you into our family. We have beautiful twin boys Hilal and Haney (both aged five). Me and Hala are both doctors. We cover different shifts patterns including nights and weekends. As a family, we enjoy going to parks, shopping, watching movies and cooking in our spare time. We have a busy and happy life together and we wish that you enjoy your time with us. Hilal and Haney go to school and they enjoy it. We live in a spacious 3 bedroom house family house in Colchester, a city in Essex County, a county in the Eastern part of England. It is a beautiful city with good connections to London and in proximity to the seaside as well. It has an extensive range of shops, cinemas, bowling, sports facilities, spa, clubs and restaurants. We live on a main road with a bus stop or you can walk to the central station (it's only 5 minutes away). A single train will take you to centre of London in 1-1.5 hrs time. There is a good au pair network locally too. You would have your own bedroom in the house and shared use of the family bathroom. There's a ground floor toilet which you can also use. We would hope that you feel very comfortable in our house. Superfast fiber broadband is available and the house has got central heating. The area is very quiet and secure. We are really looking forward to meet you and hope you would have the opportunity to explore our beautiful country and learn lots about English culture during your stay. Advantages: We are flexible, easy going, rewarding, competitive pay rate (of 100 - 125 GBP per week depending on experience), kind and honest. We will pay up to £70 for your flight to come to the UK. Tasks: Looking after the boys, dropping and picking up from school, housework. Timetable is flexible, reasonable and variable. Expected to start early in the morning , getting boys ready for school and dropping them to school. School is only 5-7 min walk.The rest of the morning will be either to relax or do house work. Then pick up the boys from school and prepare dinner for them. We will be happy for you to attend English classes if you wish to. We are looking for up to 35 hrs work maximum per week. Working hours could be variable daily but not more than 6-7 hrs. We will ensure 2 days off (rather than 1 days off as per the general UK criteria) every week (those off days could be weekends or weekdays depending on the situation really). If there's no work to be done, then time could be spent to relax or as free time. Main house work - as above plus hoovering, dusting... Etc (light house work stuff). The au pair will be more than welcome to join the family for time out, shopping and other activities. We will be supportive as much as possible to help you attend courses of English language if you are interested. Start date - Mid March 2018 for a minimum of 6 months preferable but we can negotiate.
