Hi Au Pairs from the world! Thank you for reading our profile and your interest in kids We are a very multicultural family, open minded, energetic looking for someone similar to us in that sense and very different in other ways so we can learn experiences from each other I am a Venezuelan (South America) married to an English. Moved to Barcelona from London for work reasons (my husband was transferred) We have a 2 year old girl born in London and 9 months old twin boys born here in BCN. At the moment our lives are very busy changing nappies (diapers) or preparing bottles, however in our free time we love to go out (wherever) The boys are learning to crawl and our little girl is discovering her independence so more eyes are required We love sharing time with each other but we also respect each others privacy and time to be alone We live pretty close to city centre and everything in this city is walkable (if you like to walk)
Your responsibility will be to take complete care of the twins from the moment they wake up until they go to bed. A typical day includes giving them their bottles, changing their nappies, creaming them up twice a day (they have ezcema), feeding them solids, playing with them, taking them to the park or out for a walk, bathing them, changing them. You are also responsible that they have all the supplies at home (nappies, creams, milk, etc). You wont need to buy them but you have to make sure it is bought in time to always have some in stock Also, cleaning is not required, however their toys would also be needed to by in their places and you are responsible of that In some occasions, you will be asked to look after the 2 year old girl but you will never be alone with the 3 of them, there will be always at least one more person with you The twins take 2 naps of 1 hour each per day where you can take your break, besides that they regularly sleep at 7pm so after they sleep you are free to go out on your own except Thursdays that my husband goes out to play football and I would need you to be home in case they all wake up Weekends are off so you are free to go out then too, however some friday nights you will be asked to stay at home to babysit while they sleep On top of this, there will be a weekend in July that my husband will be travelling so I would need you all day then and in August there will be a trip to London which you would have to go with us and work full time (you must be eligible to enter UK with no problem)
