*WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TILL THE END OF SEPTEMBER WITH POTENTIAL TO EXTEND FOR LONGER* We are a family of 4 + 1 beautiful cat, myself Francoise (I am originally from France), my husband Frank, our daughter Clara who is 6, our son Axel 4 and our big fluffy cuddly cat Georgy who is 9 years old. We have had one au pair on a 9 months contract, a summer au pair, one au pair who has stayed for a year in 2015 and our current au pair who will have been here for nearly a year. All 4 of them have settled in really quickly. They have all become the big sister to the children and we still keep in touch with all of them. It is very important for us that the au pair feels like a member of the family and that the children treat the au pair with respect. You have of course your complete independence in your free time and our pairs loved spending time either relaxing in their rooms or going out with friends they would make here. The children are very active, love the outdoors, are very creative and do a lot of art and crafts, love singing, dancing and reading. We are therefore looking for someone who really enjoys outdoor activities, being creative and entertaining but also understands that the priority is to keep the children safe when in their care. We live in a 5 bedroom house in a lovely little village called Old Stratford in a house with a pretty garden, a 10 minutes’ walk from a town where you can find all the amenities you need, coffee shops, restaurants and shops. During the school holidays from July till 13th September, the children will be on holiday. We will be going on holiday from the 9th till 23rd August during which time you will not need to look after the children. We would ask however for you to babysit our cat in our home! :-) Between now till 9th August, we would therefore need an au pair to work 4 days to look after the children whilst we are at work and you would have 3 days off (which includes week ends) The au pair only helps with very light housework. You of course have your own room (we share the bathrooms but we have 3 + 1 cloakroom so easy to use!), we provide a mobile which we top up for you to be able to contact us, you can top it up for personal use and unlimited broadband access. We pay £80 a week.
