I am Kylie originally from Australia, I am a nurse. My husband Vishal:- He works as a medical doctor. We live in the North West of England.
We are looking for someone who loves children and is responsible. Ideally you'll want to stay for 12 months or longer. We also want someone who will have lots of fun with the children and love them whilst I'm not around to do so. Your main tasks will be to get them both to/from school, during term time. In school holidays it will be from when they wake till I return home from work, which is generally around 5pm. We would require occasional babysitting, by agreement. We live quite a simple life and do not make the children do lots of clubs - we're happy for them to be playing at home or out in the park. The two boys entertain themselves quite a lot, and are happy just to scooter around outside with the other children. In regards to rules- we hope that you are firm but fair when dealing with the boys. For the most part they are really well behaved children if the rules are already in place. At this age there isn’t as many times they have ended up in time out, as they are pretty easy going kids. Regarding household chores;- I would hope that the Au Pair would help me keep the home clean and tidy. I firmly believe that au pairs are for childcare and experiencing family life as an equal part of a loving home. Therefore, I would only ask the Au Pair to undertake jobs connected to the children, like emptying the dishwasher, hanging out laundry, and light ironing. However, the primary job would be caring for Nathan and Jacob. Housework is not a big priority, the safety and happiness of our children is paramount. On days you're not working you are welcome to join in with whatever we're doing or do your own thing. We will show you around, help you learn about our area.
