We became a family of three recently as little Àlex was born in late March. We are a young couple, our names are Santi and Anna and we consider ourselves kind, simple and funny. We live in blanes, in the coastline (costa brava), which belongs to the region of Girona. Nevertheless you can easily get to Barcelona by public transport. We talk Catalan, Spanish and English. Although Àlex is very young, we both work so he will go to the garden school from September. We would like the au pair to arrive at middle/late august so we can all adapt and show her/him everything at the beginning with no rush. We are both marine biologist, Santi will spend most of the summer working and Anna will come back to work in September.
The au pair would be in charge of the kid and his things. He/she would walk him to the kids garden and/or pick him up. He/she would talk to Àlex in English at least for some hours. Regarding the housework, he/she should just do the things related to the kid (includes laundry, changing sheets, room, etc).
