Hellooooo We are a family of 3, the clumsy smiling mum Arancha, the chilled dad Richi and the happy super Leo, who is 1 year old. Leo loves dogs and motorbikes and he is great at imitating the washing machine ;). He loves sing and dance and is always smiling (more since he is a crawling baby ;) at the moment starting his first steps! Richi's favourite sport is taking life easy, he enjoyes photography, docummentaries and being with friends, he loves swimming and basketball and he is absolutely addict to jellybeans. Arancha is crazy about music and chocolate, loves reading (anything, even supermarket receipt) and is desperate for returning to the gym. We are both very easy going and open minded, we love music, good films, being with friends, travel and nature, and mostly enjoying life. We are also photographers, web designers and travel bloggers at "Beats of my trips". We were together doing wwoofing in Wales for some months and Arancha was in Ireland as an aupair (so will understand very well your needs!) Both experiences were wonderful, so now we wanted to live the experience of aupairing from the other side ;). We can give you references if you need from our time in Wales, from some friends we have there, a University teacher at Newport Uni, our fireman housemate in Cardiff, and our hosts in Aberystwyth and Snowdonia. We are a happy and good family that live in Ponferrada, a medium size (66.000 habitants) nice university city surrounded by mountains in the North West of Spain. We are looking for a loving, fun, enthusiastic and sensible au pair who loves children. Your main task will be to play with Leo, so we need you are willing to not just take care of Leo but have fun with him, tell him stories, imagine new activities and games... and all with lots of love and laugh. Hope you are on fit as it will be a extremely hard work, climbing couches, making funny faces on the mirror, swimming on the floor.. ;) We want Leo learns English in a natural way, and we can't think of a better "teacher"! We expect you spend around 30 hours a week playing and taking care of Leo but we are quite flexible. You will have weekends off. You will enjoy healthy food, comfy home, private nice bedroom, and 80€/week. Also lovely chats and meetings up with friends. You are more than welcome to join our family activities and travels but also free to do your stuff. Also you will be able to practice a lot your Spanish with us as Arancha works from home. Will be happy to show how to cook some Spanish delightful food!
