We live in a small village in the south of France, 15 min from the sea. We live at the country side in the summer in a chalet and in the village in winter. We like a lot nature and to bring up our children in this environment. I speak flemish, my husband french and the children, flemish, french and english. We like travelling. My husband and I travelled in Europe, South America, Africa and with the children we went to Asia. We like to discover other cultures and their countries. We practice scubadiving and like hiking. Our son is 10 years old and his sister 8 years. During the year Ulysse plays tennis, danses hip hop and does a drawing course. Hanaé plays the piano and is member of a choral, danses, does the same drawing course as Ulysse and plays tennis. She loves music, dancing and arts. They are both curious and open to discover and learn new things. They are both quite independant. Hanaé likes to cook with me. They are both enthousiastic to do artcrafts and manual activities. We like the montessori pedagogy and therefor we like to educate them in the way"learn them to do it by themselves". They have got an au pair for the last 5 summers. We are looking for an aupair who speaks fluently english and spanish is an advantage. We are looking for someone who likes the countryside, the sea and outdoor living. We live in a nice little french village, 1 hour from bigger cities.
We are looking for someone who mainly looks after the children during the week. The person has to be flexible with time schedules because of my irregular hours at work. The person will spend quite a lot of time at home with them. The person needs to be independant. The person will make breakfast and lunch for the children. We ask also to help the children to improve their english in a joyfull way. Our daughter is interested in learning spanish as well and so we ask to spend some time at this level if you speak spanish. The au pair will drive the children to their activities like a tennis camp or to friends. The person will take them to the beach sometimes. Also friends come to play at home. The person has a room in the house in the village. She can choose to eat with us most of the time or rather look after herself in the village. Most of the weekends are an opportunity for the au pair to visit the region we live.
