We are a Spanish/English family of 5. The children are 9 (Sofia), Lucas (7) and Oliver (4). Carmen (36) and Dan (35) both have full time jobs in finance and work Monday to Friday (we need an aupair to look after the children while we are at work during the week, generally Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00). We have a dog (Chase) who is quite large but has a great temperament and is very friendly and relaxed. The children are all very sociable and independent and enjoy playing with each other and their friends. Sofia is very responsible and mature and enjoys reading, painting and arts. Lucas likes playing with his toys, running around outside and playing with his friends. Oliver enjoys playing outside and is quite active! Most of the time they will need supervising while they are in and out of the swimming pool! We would also expect the Aupair to take them out (to the beach, to the park or other excursions they feel comfortable with). We are a (relatively) young and sociable family. We like organizing activities with our friends and other families, visiting places and relaxing on the beach. We go to the mountains a lot in winter and will probably visit a few times in summer. We live in Castelldefels, which is 20 minutes outside of Barcelona (which is easily accessible by train or bus), and has a great beach, lots of restaurants and bars.
We would expect the aupair to give the children breakfast and lunch and clean up after, otherwise no other house work is required. We want someone who speaks English (ideally as first language), is also sociable, friendly and active. We would like her to play, paint and organize activities with the children.
