I am an Australian fulltime working mother with a hectic career based in Denmark which involves long commutes every day. I am an easy to get along person. I love my family, gardening in our back garden and getting out into nature with the family when the weather is good. I love reading, cooking and finding crafty things for the children to do. I love relaxing when possible by putting my feet up and watching TV at the end of the day. I love entertaining for the family and socialising with my close circle of friends. My Swedish partner also works in Denmark and so we both have long commutes. He also has shift work including night work. He loves finding time to exercise, tinkering with the cars and working on small house projects when time allows. He also loves socialising and getting outdoors with the family. We are a non-smoking, no pets and no drugs household.
We are looking for someone who could help get the children ready for daycare and school and take them to daycare which are 15 min walks from our home, but in different directions. We also need someone to pick them up in the afternoons and bring them home and take care of them until we get home from work. We would love it if some preparation and cooking of meals a couple of days during the week. During the day we would love light housework help. Picking up the toys and clutter and a little laundry. We are also in need of help in the bedtime routine to get the children to sleep when my partner is working nights. The kids speak both Swedish and English and we would love an au pair with strong English skills. We encourage you to take some Swedish language lessons during your time with us and learn more about the Swedish culture.
