Professional trail runner and family looking for a nanny for our two boys, ages 4 and 1. The nanny would help us at our home in Boulder and travel with us around the world to mountain towns for races. We have a lot of travel plans for this year to exciting destinations as outlined below.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about: ~Kids - creative, fun and nurturing, genuine love for spending time with our kiddos ~Travel - love to travel and explore new places and cultures ~Adventure - enjoys the outdoors as an avid hiker, trail-runner or adventurer of sorts Work Duties: ~20-30 hours per week ~The main job duty is of course providing childcare to our two sons ~Some household work including cooking and cleaning Not required, optional help as qualified and/or interested: ~Homeschooling at preschool/kindergarten level ~Help with professional athlete brand and our company, Run Mindful Retreats (example skills: writing, editing, photography, social media or administrative work) Required Skills: ~Experience with baby/toddler/preschool age children ~Energetic, active, playful, creative ~Positive, reliable, organized, clean ~Patient, warm, caring ~Flexible, proactive, self-motivated ~Strong communication skills ~Good problem solving skills ~Practice hobbies and activities that can be shared with our children (e.g. dance, music, art, yoga, climbing, other sports, etc.) ~Not required, but would be an added bonus - practice mindfulness/meditation, general healthy lifestyle, background in education, bilingual Compensation: ~$1000-1500 per month, dependent on qualifications/experience and number of hours ~All travel costs including airfare, accommodation and board ~If interested, we would consider a live-in nanny position and providing room and board in our home here in Boulder as well (in exchange for a partially reduced monthly stipend) Tentative Travel Plans: ~May 2017 (1 week) -- Flagstaff, Arizona ~June-August 2017 -- We'll be spending most of the summer in Boulder but my do some roadtrips to other US mountain towns. ~October 2017 (4-6 weeks) -- Réunion Island (La Diagonale de Fous Race) ~November 2017 (4 weeks) -- Thailand (Thailand Ultramarathon) ~January - May 2018 (3-4 months) -- Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain (as a home base with travel throughout Europe) ~August 2018 (4-6 weeks) -- Chamonix, France (UTMB)
