We are the grandparents of two boys, ages 11 and 7. Their father travels a lot for work (approx. 30%) and we would like some help to look after the boys, mainly after school (4.00pm – 8.00 pm). We live in a beautiful (very old) village in Sussex about 10 minutes from Brighton. We are 2-3 minutes walk from the village center and 15 mins from the local train station with direct links to London and Brighton. The main help we need is after school care for a few hours each day – collecting from school, help with homework, and collection from after school activities. There may also be some light housework for the boys only (e.g. cooking meals and cleaning away, washing kit for school etc). Occasional babysitting would also be great but not essential. This would suit a live in nanny/au pair who wants to learn English, maybe studying in Brighton, and who also loves kids! Really keen to chat and meet up! Pay based upon experience.
