Hello! My name is Mia and I come from Norway. I am a 19 year old girl soon graduating school! I’m a calm, playful, open-minded and responsible person who enjoys music, reading, art and spending time outdoors. What I love most about children is their ability to be 100% themselves, full of curiosity and imagination. I love playing and am not afraid of a good laugh. I enjoy creating an environment where kids feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves. At the same time, I know how to stay calm and patient when needed. I find joy in connecting with children on their level, whether that means pretending to be a dinosaur or helping them wind down before bed with a story. Becoming an au pair feels like the perfect opportunity to combine my passion for working with children with my love for exploring the world. I hope to work with children long-term, possibly in education or child development, so this experience would be both meaningful and helpful for my future. I also would like to become fluent in french, and hope this is something you as a family can help me with, speaking french and giving me insights into your culture. I would be a positive and reliable addition to your family. I’m happy to help not only with childcare, but also with light housework, homework, or anything else that makes everyday life smoother. I genuinely enjoy being around children and love finding ways to make them laugh, learn, and feel safe. I have hands-on experience babysitting both a baby and a preschooler, so I’m comfortable with different routines and needs. I’m a quick learner, open-minded, and always do my best to communicate clearly and kindly. I would bring patience, energy, and care into your home.
