Dear Host Family, My name is Samia Tamayo and I am an enthusiastic, responsible, and caring person with a true passion for helping and supporting others. I have over two years of experience as a healthcare assistant, working with people in vulnerable situations, such as those who are homeless, dealing with mental health issues, addiction, and alcoholism. This work has taught me to be very patient, empathetic, and to always keep a positive attitude. I am currently studying positive psychology, mindfulness, and emotional management because I believe emotional well-being is just as important as physical health. I love learning and growing as a person so I can give my best in everything I do. I am energetic, a great team player, and deeply committed to caring for others with love and responsibility. For me, being an au pair is not just a job — it's an opportunity to connect, learn, and bring something meaningful into the lives of children and their family.
