Dear Family, My name is Princessmae, I'm 22 years old, and I'm from the Philippines. I took a course in AB journalism, but due to financial problems I stopped school. Let me tell you about myself. I was born on June 25, 2000. I grew up on my grandmother's farm. It is a quiet place with plenty of good people and animals. I lived there with my parents, my 3 brothers and 4 sisters. What you can tell about my personality is that I am responsible, nice, really patient and emphatic. In my daily routine, I'm organized, resolute and dynamic. I enjoy having a quality time with my family and friends. I love animals because I grew up on a farm. In addition, I am a person who wants to do many things. I like to discover new things, people, places, and culture. I have experience as a nanny to a 7-year-old girl. Her name is Shieka, I am tasked to clean her, tucking her in to bed, teaching her to pray before going to sleep, ironing the children clothes, do the laundry and keeping the children room tidy and clean. In the morning, I drive her to school using a bicycle, after that I wash the dishes. Also, if she goes home after school I helped her with her homework, language and reading practice, took care of her if she sick, studied and performed research on food allergies, and told bedtime stories. Besides, we did indoor and outdoor activities. We sang, played games, role-played, drew, and sometimes we went shopping. I cooked some of her favorite food, like adobo and spaghetti. I tried to introduce her to the importance of vegetables, because she hates eating them, but thanks to my lovable skills, she loves to eat them now: breakfast, lunch and dinner. And I am helping her parents to limit her screen time, teaching her to clean her mess, taught her safe behavior skills and social manners such as engaging with other children at the playground, approaching animals and pets and preventing injury in the kitchen while helping with cooking meals and Ability to multitask and respond to children changing needs. The reason why I want to be an au pair is because I want to expand my horizons and I want to get to know the way of life as well as different cultures and languages. I want to experience and to see in the Netherlands the most well-known flowers, especially tulips, the best cheese markets, the canals of Amsterdam and the museum. Consequently, it's extremely easy to do at least sightseeing by bicycle. I want to explore more tourist spots during my time off, meeting new sets of friends. I believe being an au pair will help me be more independent, self-growth, and it will help me in becoming the better me.  Sincerely, Princessmae
